LABORATORY TESTING
Materials Testing, Inc. and KC Engineering Company’s certified
laboratory is also a full service geotechnical soils laboratory to
determine the physical and engineering properties of the soil samples
retrieved during field investigations. The laboratory is equipped to
determine resistance value, shear strength, consolidation
characteristics, unconfined compressive strength, maximum
density/optimum moisture content and index parameters. The testing is
performed in accordance with the latest ASTM and Caltrans test
methods.
